Due to road construction, route 16 is on detour. Stops on 1st/Idaho and 1st/Bannock will be closed, use stop on Main and 1st.
New detour on the Outbound Route 9. From 5th, Left on Idaho, Right on 15th, Left on State. Stops on State at 9th, 11th, 15th, and 18th will be closed. We will be servicing stops on Idaho Outbound. We will be returning to regular route on the Inbound side. A temporary stop has been placed at State and 21st. Inbound stop at State and 9th has been closed due to construction.

Access is a transportation service operated by Valley Regional Transit through the tax support of local municipalities. Designed to complement the VRT fixed-route and on-demand bus systems, this service is available to people who are unable to utilize the bus system because of a disability. Eligibility may be limited on a conditional basis, and each trip can be reviewed.

Beyond Access is a regional, door-to-door, shared ride for older adults and persons with disabilities that provides no-cost trips in and between Canyon and Ada counties within the designated service area. Available Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

VRT Late Night offers transportation assistance for low-income job access. In partnership with Lyft, Valley Regional Transit offers $3 Lyft rides to and from work for qualified riders. This program for low-income workers operates during the hours VRT buses are not running.

VRT On-Demand allows people to get to more places by booking a ride through the VRT Booking mobile app, website, or by calling VRT Customer Service. Riders are picked up near their location and dropped off near their destination. VRT On-Demand offers many more places to go at the cost of a bus fare — works like a taxi, runs like a bus!
